Integrate With Your Environment
Â
Integrating your data pipelines with the CoreLogic Discovery Platform allows you to publish data onto the platform and export data off the platform to use within your local environments. Before you can do either of these, you will need to create an exchange connection (endpoint) within your cloud account (GSC, S3 or Azure) and then connect your cloud endpoint to the Platform. You may need the help of someone in your organization if you do not have the Technician role. You can view Users in your organization to find someone to help you. It is often a good idea to set up your cloud endpoints as soon as possible as this may require assistance from other departments in your company.
Cloud security
We have designed the platform to ensure the maximum security of your data and innovation insights. Our platform controls the internal access to any resources of your organization. However, your employees will need to connect from your company network or their home network to the platform.
Â
Based on the controls in place in your company network or on the personal networks of your employees, you may have restrictions in place that prevent you from taking full advantage of the services on the platform. If so, we recommend this article, Integrate With Your IT Network, to discover actions you can perform to allow the necessary traffic.
As more people work from home, users may experience some latency on their activities in Spaces due to the quality of their connection. If you need help measuring network quality and finding solutions, we recommend reading the article Integrate With Your Personal Network.
Data exchange
We know that innovation projects need to be connected to your current digital environment, and our platform provides various secured ways to integrate with your production world.
In your organization, you can define endpoints associated with any cloud storage you have in your environment.
To ensure maximum security, the end point definitions are only accessible from your users in the platform, and a specific security credential (service account) is created to perform data operations with instructions on the minimum-security access that is needed. You are in full control of the security policies that you associate with this service account in your environment.
Once defined, you can use those end points for any operation of publish or export that you want to perform on the platform. The platform does not keep any data after the operation to ensure that you have full control of your data and retention strategy.
