Custom metadata
Data producers are also able to create custom metadata by adding Key Value pairs. These are strings of text that are visible to consumers in the exchange and my collection views.
Integration metadata
Key value pairs to enable integration with some external tool or process can be set up by adding Integration metadata. This works the same way as custom metadata although none of these values will ever be exposed to consumers.
